contact... me Tell me how much you like my blog. Hah!
Hey everybody, thanks so much for visiting this site, but I have to inform you it's being moved to hinorei.pitas.com don't ask me why, I don't understand, Hana (who set all this up for me) said I was moving it so I said "right, whatever" and proceeded to smile and nod as she tried to explain. So I'll blog there while I'm in Japan. Love you guys! posted by Rei 5:47 PM
YAY!! I got everything to fit into my suitcase! And it's under 70 lbs! ^_^ One suitcase, one carry-on, and a teddy bear named spit. (Don't tell him that's what Tsuba means though...he's sensitive) soo I'm going stir crazy. I dropped out of school on Wednesday and I'm twitching and singing weird songs and chewing on things that are dirty...I need out of this place. But it's not like I haven't had plenty to do. I think it's just pre-trip jitters. Not that any of this has sunk in, or will until I'm there...or maybe not even until I get home. Who knows...but I'm going to buy a Tare Panda NEEEE!!!....I think I'm going to go chew on things again...i really need to get out of this house.... posted by Rei 4:14 PM
Ok, Hana has been bugging me to blog more often just so people know I'm not dead or anything, but really I'll probably only have time for once a week in Japan, so people should learn to deal with it, but I will appease her since I have nothing else to do. (Pardon my long and rambleing sentence). So tomorrow is my last day of school. I can't believe it...better not to think to much I figure...I think I'm finally finally done with my shopping (I keep thinking I am and then discovering things like I need twelve white button down shirts for school uniforms and other random and difficult things to find)....hmmmm...well that's about it in the life of Krista...yeah posted by Rei 7:25 PM
heheheheheh I went to an AFS dance thingee on Saturday night. It was soo much fun!!! AFS people are really cool. The sort of people that go abroad with AFS have to have larger than life personalities. They're a blast. Everyone was soo nice to me. I didn't know anyone but they would all talk to me and were super friendly and stuffs. ^_^ I'm getting excited and then today I was talking to a missionary from our church who is home on furlow and she was an AFS student to Australia and she had some good advice and it was encouraging to know sh'es gone too and not died or was eaten by crocodiles or monkeys in something... *shudder* monkeys "Famous last words, monkeys don't eat people" posted by Rei 2:56 PM
OK I'm soooo sorry everybody. I have been sooooo busy! Everything is going crazy trying to do last minute packing etc. So I've contacted my host family. They seem really really nice and we were able to communicate in both English and Japanese which is difinently a good sign. I have a dog. ^_^ I'm sooo excited. So I've been trying to do packing and shopping. I have a small fortune in travellers checks and yen up on my desk, a million new clothes and stuff for my school uniform. I'm going to be able to take French in Japan!! I was really scared I'd lose all of my French, but I get to take French from a native speaker! I don't even have that here and any foreing language other than english is super rare in Japan. So I was at an AFS banquet thingee last night and I'm going to another dance thingee tonight. Yeah...I'm not even sure what all to say, so much has happened since I last blogged. Well I have two days of school left. heh heh heh..... And in Japanese class yesterday I got to read a childrens book about Tare Panda which means Floppy Panda. It's sooooooooooo cute ^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^ I want! I want! ooh! I can give you a site about him.....I'll have to find a good one first. Oh and for whoever cares I found my school website. But it's all in Japanese, but if you have a lot of time on your hands you can click randomly about and try to find pictures...They're in an obscure section of the site and I don't really feel like trying to explain where.... but the site is http://www.fudooka-h.ed.jp/ ok I'll go look for a site on Tare Panda now ^_^ He's soooooooo cute! posted by Rei 3:31 PM

Geuss what!? Geuss what?! I HAVE A HOST FAMILYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! ^_^ I know nothing about them at the moment, but I will soon. ^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^_^ (not that again...). So I just came back from Silver Birch. That place rocks. It was a tough week-end, but God came through and really taught me I need to trust in him and remember the big picture instead of my own heartbreak. I could never have made it through without him. I remember my "life verse" which is not really a verse, but it should be. It's from "a Page is Turned" by Bebo Norman. It says "The God of second-chance will pick you up and will let you dance to a world that is not kind." And it just reminds me that when life sucks, God will allways be there no matter what I've done this time and he'll let me have joy through him even though I hurt. posted by Rei 5:24 PM
